If you’ve ever wanted to show someone how to do something on a computer, screencasting is the way to do it. Jing is a free, downloadable application that lets you screencast, meaning make a video of what’s happening on your computer screen. You can then share the video as a simple link via email. Very cool.
Screencast (the site that hosts your Jing videos) has a great blog, and I found an article on the Top Five Ways Educators Use ScreenCast.com. Check it out if you’re looking for ideas!
